Trainee (all Genders) Operations Development Program (ODP) - Full-time - Temporary Contract (3 Years)

The Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global leadership development program. ODP assignments are crafted to develop exceptional functional and leadership traits, by working on a wide range of projects and gaining exposure to different leaders in the company. The program offers a formal three-year development, with three twelve-month assignments in different areas of AbbVie Operations, including the option to complete a global assignment.
As the ODP is focused on developing high potential leadership talent for AbbVie Operations globally, this program combines hands-on experiences and career mentoring with technical and leadership training to accelerate professional development. ODP candidates (all genders) will graduate with the experience, technical ability, and the self-confidence to make a remarkable impact for our patients.
Over the course of the three-year program, you will be given extensive opportunities to develop both professionally and personally, which will give you the required skills needed for future success within our organization. We will work with you to create a personalized development plan to serve as a step-by-step guide towards the experiences, knowledge and resources necessary to achieve your career goals.
In your role you will complete: Two rotations within your discipline, one elective/leadership rotation in a different function within operations.

• You will work on a variety of assignments with a focus on pharmaceutical production and related functions as well as cross functional project teams within AbbVie’s operations departments such as: Drug Product Manufacturing and Packaging, Technical Operations, New Product Introduction, Science & Technology, Quality and Maintenance & Engineering
• Through you work you will have the opportunity to visit and work with other sites across the network.
• You are paired with a mentor, who will provide you with support and guidance in the development of your career
• You will receive training customized to support your individual growth and development
• You will report to an assignment manager for each rotation who will oversee your day-to-day responsibilities
• Recently graduated (preferably master's degree or PhD) for example in process & chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or chemistry, bioscience/technology, pharmacy, etc.
• At least one internship or similar working experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Strong academic performance and extra-curricular achievement
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong display of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, integrity, and professional maturity
• Highly ambitious as well as strong aspiration to develop into a leadership position within Operations
• Ideally, you have entry level working experience after graduation to qualify for the ODP
• Fluent German and English language skills
