Warehouse Worker

WAREHOUSE WORKER
$18/hr, Coquitlam, BC
Job Description:
Candidates will be pulling old boxes of files throughout the warehouse that need to be sent for shredding.

• Will start the morning off by receiving a list of boxes they need to collect in the racking.
• Will need to identify which boxes to pick and place them on pallets and will then move them to the shipping area via pallet jack (to be verified by Iron Mountain employees).
• They can expect to be moving these boxes all shift long. Boxes average around 25lbs or so but can get up to 70lbs (will get help with anything over 50lbs).
  

Qualifications:

• Warehouse experience
• Landscaping experience
• Moving experience

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (unpaid 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
Wage:
$18/hr
Environment:

• Will be working in a large warehouse filled with 3 levels which includes boxes on the racking.
• Can be dusty in the warehouse.
• Small team, will be working by themselves for most of the time
  

CULTURE FIT:

• Laid back atmosphere where people are asked to work at a steady pace.
• Can have one headphone in and listen to music while they work
  

**Please note that this will start out as a contract position; however, if you are performing well, have a good attitude, and work hard, you have the opportunity to be brought on permanent.**
