About This Opportunity 
We are looking for a Technical Writer to join a team responsible for extending and improving diagnostic services. In this role, you will write detailed descriptions of clinical protocols and software behavior to support releases of cloud services and user-facing applications in a regulated medical environment. Beyond regulatory requirements, you will work closely with expert clinicians and developers, and extend the knowledge base for clinicians and engineers and support the technical documentation process. The key stakeholders include patients, general dentists, orthodontists, dental lab technicians, dental service organizations, universities, and public hospitals. You will work with teams of designers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, marketing managers, software engineers, medical domain experts, and others to build impactful Diagnostics AI products. 
 
In this role, you will…

• Monitor, support and prepare the technical documentation (user manuals, IFU, technical software requirements) of SaMD products.
• Maintain traceability and regulatory documentation for medical software.
• Explore and document software behavior and clinical protocols implemented in software.
• Write content in documentation-as-code approach, using version control, markup format and text editors.
• Support various QMS activities.
• Draft communications to business for new releases and document UX features.
• Educate and guide engineers in contributing to consistent documentation.
  

In this role, you’ll need …  

• Bachelor's degree or higher, further education in software or a medical field is a big plus.
• 2+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and documents, both EU and U.S.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems and text editors for writing in markdown.
• Experience with Git, GitLab and Jira is a big plus.
• Excellent command of English language. German is an asset.
• Ability to work in a regulated industry and achieve high quality in every detail.
• Interest in learning the problem domain and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are required.
