International Financial Controller (Junior)

For the International Finance Department of ALTEN we are looking for a Financial Controller to complete our team in Barcelona!

Now, we are seeking an Financial Controller for our International Finance Department who’ll create and analyze financial reports, budget tracking and development of management control tools.

Your responsibilities:

You will work directly with the members of the International Control Teams of the Europe Zone of ALTEN from our Barcelona office and reporting to the Head of Controlling based in Barcelona. You will be a participative person in close collaboration with the different team members as well as with various international contacts.

Your objectives:

• Analyze/Produce financial reports (Margin per project/ressource, P&L, Headcounts, etc.) and operational activity indicators (KPI).
• Be responsable of the quality of General & Adminstrative costs of your company.
• Be part of the local finance teams of your area to discuss closure, reforecasting as well as specific topics related to the current context (M&A, accounting audit, etc.).
• Help on the budget process.
• Be in contact with the transversal Administrative Directors in order to follow the costs.
• Intervene in support of the integration of acquired companies into the international scope.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent professional.
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience of controlling and audits.
• Relevant experience in an international environment.
• You are an expert in the advanced commands of Microsoft Excel.
• You are fluent in English (other EU language is always a plus).
• Detail and team oriented with excellent cross-functional team leadership and participation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
