Commercial Project Manager - France
Amicus Therapeutics is a global, patient-dedicated biotechnology company focused on discovering, developing, and delivering high-quality medicines for people living with rare metabolic diseases.
Position Summary
The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) will work as an in-house member of the Commercial team supporting the commercial activities in France, as an integral part of Amicus in bringing innovative medicines to patients with rare diseases.
Based on the Commercial Director’s advice and in close departmental and cross-functional alignment, the CPM will be key in executing the commercial plans and will support the French commercial Director in successfully implementing activities for Amicus´ approved products.
The CPM will support the Commercial Director, working in compliance with all Amicus policies and procedures as well as local regulatory and legal requirements.

Roles And Responsibilities
The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for:
- Be a key player in the execution of the French Commercial Plan
- Collaborate closely with Global marketing, Medical and local regulatory to pull through materials for field team in France
- Develop and put in place with sales force, commercial director and cross functional team a multi channel communication in rare disease.
- Support market analysis and product related market research
- Ensure market observation and Competitive Intelligence (incl. input from KAMs & Medical)
- Collaborate closely with Global Marketing and International Commercial Operations on providing input for the French market on brand meetings and Veeva projects etc.
- Coordinate follow up with supply chain vendor
- Prepare dossier for hospital referencing
- Back office coordination to Special Projects
- Support preparation of internal business reviews and forecast review
- Support preparation for seminar preparation
- Budget management in close cooperation with finance operation
Educational Requirements
- Science and/or Business Degree
- Experience gained in a field-based role e.g. Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access
- Experience of marketing
- Track record of success
- Excellent understanding of the health care system in France and its various stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience in successfully delivering projects and working effectively in cross functional teams
- Excellent planning, organization & business analysis skills
- Strong presentation & effective interpersonal skills
- Relevant period of experience in commercial roles within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry and a record of significant accomplishment. Ideally sales plus marketing experience are required to be able to understand rules and regulations for commercial activities.

- Fluent French and high proficiency in English language
- Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills
- In-depth Knowledge of French pharmaceutical regulations as well as other industry rules and guidelines along with medical and clinical terminology
- Business acumen; has working knowledge of a multi-disciplinary / cross-functional scenario
- Proven ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Engaged integral team-player, thrives in a team environment
- Energetic, self-motivated with a hands-on mentality, and results orientated.
- Proven self-starter that is independently solution focused when presented with challenges
- Ability to manage a demanding schedule, and adapt and be flexible as needed with evolving priorities in a dynamic, expanding environment

- Passion for rare disease and patient focused
- Travel: up to 30 %
