Our position:
Reporting directly to the Vice President R&I, the Franchise Head – Respiratory Alliance will lead the business efforts for Tezspire, including alliance management.
The Franchise Head will lead the commercial (sales & marketing) strategy, including commercial activities, people leadership, sales performance, and profitability, ensuring the business objectives are achieved.

Our position:

The Franchise Head will lead the commercial (sales & marketing) strategy, including commercial activities, people leadership, sales performance, and profitability, ensuring the business objectives are achieved.
Accountabilities:
- Member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and the R&I Leadership Team (LT) for Canada
- Accountable for the delivery of annual P&L and contribution budget, and sales targets
- Responsible for building and implementing sales & marketing strategies
- Enterprise leadership of brand/disease plans across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Government Affairs
- Ensure compliance of all AZ governance framework and policies including collecting and reporting adverse events
- Establishes and leads marketing strategy for Tezspire, in conjunction with the global strategy and in line with budget
- Leads the brand team to develop innovative, effective, and efficient promotional & educational programs
- Leads the development and implementation of advisory boards and consultant meetings
- Seeks opportunities to drive digital initiatives to improve reach of brand
- Builds a high achieving sales team for current and future business
- Manages the implementation of tactical leadership decisions to achieve it sales objectives
- Assesses sales performance and market trends to adapt and improve resource allocation on an ongoing basis aligned with budget, market changes, local requirements, new product launches, etc.
- Creates a culture of collaborative working to deliver a key account-based working model to customers
- Builds, leads, and coaches teams in to ensure delivery against business objectives
- Attracts, recruits, retains, and develops individuals to achieve their potential and deliver objectives
- Coaches and mentors senior managers and identifies professional development opportunities, together with succession planning for the overall team
- Ensures a practice of ethics, integrity, inclusion and compliance is embedded in all business activities
- Actively manages the relationship with our alliance partner
- University degree in Science or Business
- Seasoned pharmaceutical/biotechnology executive with demonstrated experience and proven leader with sophisticated general management, strategic marketing, and sales management skills with a solid track record of meeting the strategic direction
- Proven track record in delivering in a competitive marketplace
- Demonstrates strategic and tactical abilities in developing and successfully implementing a comprehensive commercial plan
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills and partnership, aligning disease strategies with all cross functional teams (Medical, Access, and Enabling teams)
- Excellent at developing individuals and teams, sets an ambitious and clear vision and builds organizational commitment
- Proven P&L Management experience
- Role models AstraZeneca values and behaviours
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
