Job Description
As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will assist the regulatory affairs team, and work directly with the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Director in ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards related to AxmedRx business. This opportunity offers valuable experience in navigating regulatory processes and understanding the complexities of regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry in the African region and other LMICs. The role involves research, data entry, and collaboration with various departments (including the commercial team and tech engineering team) to ensure appropriate flow of information.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date medicines catalogue on AxmedRx marketplace technology platform by centralizing all procurement needs received by the commercial team and ensuring quality throughout the transfer of information to the technological product
- Support reviewing of documents submitted by the buyers and sellers on the platform and notify regulatory affairs director of any compliance issues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the regulatory strategy to ensure compliance
- Work with the regulatory affairs department on any other related duties assigned
Job location: Remote applicants are welcome to apply since our operations are spread through different Low-And Middle-Income countries.
Languages: Excellent command of the English language is a requirement. Other languages (i.e French) are an asset.
Work schedule: We are a young startup, so we focus on delivering results, not filling hours of work. However, as a reference, candidates can expect to normally work within normal office hours per week (Monday-Friday).
Employment terms: Permanent
Salary: USD 35,000 – 42,000 p.a
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or other health related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a key focus on excel mastery
- Strong attention to details
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Good research skills with ability to gather information from various sources
- Passion for the mission of improving healthcare equity
