With a global presence, they specialize in helping pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations navigate the complex landscape of market access, pricing, and reimbursement.


Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Market Access Director to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and implementing market access strategies for their clients, ensuring their products achieve optimal access and reimbursement.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the development and execution of market access strategies for clients entering or expanding in the European market.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on pricing, reimbursement, and market access challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market access considerations into overall product development and commercialization plans.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for European clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and challenges and deliver customized market access solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on market access best practices and industry trends.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market assessments, including pricing and reimbursement landscape analysis.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, health economic trends, and competitor activities in the European healthcare market.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to guide client decision-making.

Collaboration and Team Management:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Health Economics, Pricing, and Reimbursement, to ensure cohesive and integrated client solutions.
  • Mentor and manage a team of market access professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health Economics, Business Administration, Public Health).
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in market access roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on the European market.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful market access strategies.
  • Strong understanding of health economic principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
