Marketing & Tactical Plans
- Timely development of Strategic Marketing plans
- Regular comprehensive review on markets
- Implementation of Tactical Plans
- Quarterly review and updating of promotional calendar. Agreed calendar to be used to track implementation and timing of promotional activities and material development.
- Define portfolio and target customer profiles from analysis of market
- Achievement of sales, profit and market share targets
- Portfolio leadership to internal stakeholders (sales management, clinical & application specialists, technical services, sales team and cross functional departments) and customers
- Manage new product set up and portfolio rationalisation.
- All planning and promotional support, including promotional activities and material
- Submission and approval of all materials by regulatory and medical through review portal
- Advertising, editorial and PR mailings
- Product and competitor information expert and trainer
- Inventory management
- Conference displays
- Control of A&P budget and forecasting
- Build relationships with key members of the international marketing team and attend conference calls on commercial strategies, new products and product developments
- Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with internal Sales & Marketing Guidelines, SOPs, and relevant local regulations
- Planning exhibit material development
- Logistics – material and demonstration stock movement
- Ensure key industry displays are consistent with strategy and maximise key product opportunities
- Management of sponsorship and within A&P Budget
- Ownership and accountability for the S&OP process
- Ensure adequate and timely new product supply
- Take appropriate measures to maintain MOH (month on hand) at or below Plan
- Work closely with supply chain for forecasting and demand planning functions
- Work with and leverage cross functional team members for new product launches, discontinuations and rationalization
- Support NZ market with product information and launches, marketing materials and set up of new SKUs
- Key Opinion Leaders & Customers
- Foster relationships with identified KOLs
- Identify and develop new KOLs
- Understand customer experiences
- Team Management & Leadership
- Plan and support leadership of business operations
- Provide updates to leadership on market dynamics from regular reviews
- Develop departmental plans consistent with business objectives
- Collaborate with sales leadership to review staff members regularly to ensure performance is tracked against agreed objectives
- Collaborate with clinical staff members to ensure appropriate materials, messages and assets are in place.
- Measure and improve productivity of the team and report progress to Leadership team
Competencies
- Experience in and understanding of healthcare and drivers (Essential)
- Knowledge of cosmetic device market (Desirable)
- People management / leadership experience in previous role (Desirable)
- Degree in business/commerce related field or science/nursing tertiary qualification (Essential)
- 5 years+ experience in marketing in either pharmaceutical or medical devices (Favourable)
