Capstone Recruitment has been engaged by Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) to recruit the Team Leader Workshop position for their world class medical research institute, based in Randwick. You will report to the Facilities & Engineering & Services Manager who is responsible for the built environment including workshop facilities.

Team Leader Workshop
NeuRA's state-of-the-art workshop facilities provide bespoke solutions and equipment for their research staff and medical experts. In this critical role, you will be providing support and advice to the Mechanical & Electronics Workshop Technicians, as well as working hands on when required. You will enjoy the diversity of responsibilities, opportunity to innovate and make improvements, and assist with projects.
Duties include;

• Directing Technicians and allocating resources to projects,
• Working hands-on in the workshop
• Liaising with stakeholders & assessing viability of requests
• Assisting your Manager regarding physical relocation requirements.
  

Your Background
Relevant technical background and qualifications for high tech workshop environments is expected. A flexible attitude towards being hands on as well as coordinating and advising is important as this is a multi-faceted role. Experience ideally in Medical or Biomedical Research, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, University, or other high-technology environments are most desirable.
You will have Mechanical or Electrics qualifications or trade certificate, and demonstrated capabilities in

• delivering innovative solutions for technical challenges,
• managing and supporting your team,
• ensuring service delivery & customer service excellence.

Remuneration is negotiable up to $100,000 Package, depending on your qualifications, experience and capabilities. (Not for Profit status will increase your take home pay).
