Your Job

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales professional to provide first line sales and on-going account management for Cencora PharmaLex clients in Australia & New Zealand. Reporting into the Commercial Director, APAC and dotted line to the Managing Director, Australia you will take the lead on Australia & New Zealand sales initiatives, you will develop new business opportunities and nurture long standing relationships for repeat business and engage in activities to promote our company and brand.

You will generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships and sales activity to promote Cencora PharmaLex services. You will identify new, valuable and emerging companies and deploy your sales techniques to find and close business proposals to achieve or exceed your targets. You will manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal development through to contract negotiation and deal closure. You will work closely with the senior leaders in the business to build an in depth understanding of our service offering.

You will actively participate in major conferences, trade shows and industry events.

Your Profile

You are a result driven sales and business development professional. You understand the Pharmaceutical industry preferably with clinical or regulatory experience. You have significant experience and a track record in sales and proposal development, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Services industry.

You are able to work effectively in a dynamic global matrix environment whilst also being able to adapt and ensure your sales techniques are fit for purpose in the local market. You are hungry for new opportunities, you enjoy networking and problem solving and don’t shy away from a challenge.

You have well-honed communication skills and can adapt your style to the audience. You feel comfortable at either one-on-one meetings or presenting to a large audience.

You have a flexible approach to work (client and stakeholder calls may be outside standard business hours due to time zone differences) and the ability to travel occasionally to conferences and industry events.
