Healthcare Consultant - Exciting opportunity working for an established Healthcare Insight and Consultancy provider - Home Based
Role: Principal Consultant - Healthcare

Location: Home Based role with travel to clients and London based office
Role Type: Health Services Consultant, Healthcare Development Consultant
On a day to day basis your role will be to grow and develop the Clients advisory and consulting services providing clinical expertise and insights to the consulting team and consulting projects and maintaining ownership and responsibility for securing and delivery of timely and profitable client projects across the healthcare industry.
You will support the Clients sales teams in pitching and winning consulting projects and raising the general profile of the business in the Consulting Services space by attending and presenting at healthcare conferences and events, submitting articles for publications, and attending in-person and virtual client events. Reporting to Head of Advisory you will provide expertise and advice in relation to commercial optimisation and go to market approach to our clients, enabling them to be commercially successful.
Responsibilities include:
Leverage pre-existing relationships and network to identify, establish, and expand business engagements
Act as the primary owner of client engagements to ensure deliverable quality, client satisfaction, and project management (scope, revenue, and profitability)
Provide subject matter expertise and thought partnership to clients in establishing credibility and adding value to stakeholders
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex analyses into relevant and actionable client insights and deliverables
Drive business development opportunities working in collaboration with the business development team
Act as an ambassador to the organisation, in contributing to the enhanced awareness of our advisory services through speaking engagements, white papers, and company presentations
Mentor, coach, and develop team members for continued growth and success within the organisation

Qualifications:
Essential: Educated to Degree level
Full UK driving licence
The Person/Experience:
Extensive professional experience in consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
Good understanding and knowledge of commissioning, NHS Structure and workings
Knowledge and experience of working with/in NHS
Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate and interpret complex analysis including primary and secondary research with attention to detail
Experience in Business integration and transformation services
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and competing priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality deliverables
Experience in developing credible relationships with C suite and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
Derive business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals etc.
Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical, NHS and healthcare industries
