For our Daiichi Sankyo Deutschland GmbH we are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position:
First Line Sales Manager (m/f/x) Oncology - Southern Germany Position and Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
In your function you will be responsible for the business results of our Lung Cancer ADCs in your area as well as ensuring its growth in alignment with the company strategic plan. You report to the Director Marketing & Sales Lung/Gastric Cancer:
  • Build-up, lead, coach and develop a high performing pharmaceutical sales team of several Key Account Manager (KAM)
  • Active participation in the development of short- and long-term commercial planning including launch preparation end execution
  • Define and implement sales strategies and effectively manage performance across the team to achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Regular analysis of your regional market and development of regional strategies including annual planning of all activities to secure and further expand our market position
  • Creation of business plans and budget responsibility, maintaining an accurate track of spend at all times and adhering to the agreed budgets
  • Build effective relationships with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders including our alliance partners on a foundation of trust, professional respect and open dialogue
  • Establish a training and development framework for the KAM team, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external alliance partner
  • Active involvement in the design and integration of new sales channels
  • Development and implementation of standards in customer project management and management of strategic account plans
  • Organization and implementation of regional meetings
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Science or Marketing/business-related Degree / MA / PhD in Sciences
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the field of Oncology, preferably in lung cancer
  • Leadership experience and expertise in sales force management
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare business changes and their impact
  • Thorough understanding of strategic and tactical business planning processes
  • Strong customer orientation and salesoriented mindset
  • Evidence of successful project management involving the coordination of significant resources and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and proven ability to work in a matrix and multicultural organization
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills and capability
  • Solution-oriented communication, confident appearance, persuasiveness and enthusiasm even in difficult situations
  • High level of negotiation skills resulting in demonstrable impact on results
  • Strong ability to work in a team
  • Availability to geographical mobility at national level and flexibility to travel when necessary
  • "Hands on" mentality
  • Very good spoken and written skills in German plus good English skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office software products and ability to adapt quickly and embrace evolving technologies such as CRM, digital media and Social Media
