ROLE: Account Manager

LOCATION: Clitheroe. March 2024 relocation to J4 M65 (Lower Darwen)

SALARY: Circa £30’000 to £35’000 plus + qtrly bonus circa £5’000 to £8’000 annually

Growing as a global engineering manufacturer throughout UK, Europe and US, the business has established and continues to build a leading reputation for quality and reliability serving Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Chemical and High Value Industrial industries.

Combining the strengths of 2 market leaders they deliver a product portfolio across specialised bespoke engineering products. Delivering a global group turnover of $140’000 and growing!

We are searching for a sales driven Account Manager to drive the service and after sales support.

Account Manager key skills:

  • Proactive customer contact to drive additional sales, support, service packages + add on sales.
  • Thorough admin, reporting, written and verbal correspondence skills. Coupled with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills internally, externally and cross functionally.
  • Strong planning skills to organise site visits, travel, diaries.

Account Manager attributes:

  • You will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in manufacturing engineering or an interest of working within a technical environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager, Sales Support Executive, Sales Support Coordinator or similar.
  • Live within a commutable distance from Clitheroe or Darwen. This is an on-site role.
  • Ability to balance projects with strong time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and manner.
  • Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensuring repeat custom.
  • Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
  • Working with and supporting cross departmental – design, engineers, purchasing, production.
