About The Role
Do you want to give operational meaning to your skills in occupational health and safety and move on to a consultant discipline ?
The Assessment and Supply Chain Services team helps clients integrate Health and Safety culture into their core business strategy; enterprise risk management; operations and supply chains, acting as a trusted third party delivering a full suite of risk management and advisory services.
As a Senior/Principal Consultant, you will help our clients increase their safety and environmental performance, ensure sustainable development and improve their financial performance. You will perform EHS management, risk assessment, safe job analysis projects, incidents management, EHS audits, hold lectures and train client personnel.
You will get the opportunity to work on projects across a number of domains, and expertise is required in at least two (ideally more) of the following: risk analysis, occupational Health and Safety training, diagnosis, process safety management, definition and implementation of action plans aimed at establishing a health and safety culture based on best practices.
You will be expected to work across our range of Health & Safety Risks management services, which include:
Contributing to the broader sales and delivery efforts across all services: occupational Health and safety audits, organizational and technical diagnosis, training, definition and support of our clients for the implementation of action plans.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise and advanced risk assessments with management consulting skills, and pull on a cross-disciplinary team of highly qualified engineers and regulatory experts to deliver value-adding services to our clients.
The role requires a considerable focus and tracks record spent in the field onsite at production and administrative locations, and following readiness to travel. Project and site review in France and internationally as we shape and accompany our clients’ global programs can be expected.

- Delivery to revenue targets
- Supporting project teams deliver to clients’ expectations, goals and target outcomes, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards
- Contributing to communication and customer care with selected clients
- Working with existing and potential clients to help establish their individual needs, identifying and recommending appropriate solutions, tapping into DNV capability across the wider group

About You
- Good understanding of, and experience from, operational EHS issues in the process industry, chemical or pharmaceutical industry, construction/ civil engineering/
- You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including contract standards in France and European regulation (ATEX, Reach, Seveso, etc)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with EHS and risk management, including management systems development and incident investigations
- An experienced trainer and able to facilitate workshops/processes with EHS resources and management teams
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). Any additional language would be added value
- Good communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards (14001, 45001) or equivalent
- Auditor and project manager experience is essential
- Flexibility to travel and work on-site at client's office
- University degree (Master degree or equivalent)
