NPI Engineer - £40k - Leamington Spa

As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a talented NPI Project Engineer to join their team and contribute to the companies success. They are seeking an experienced NPI (New Product Introduction) Project Engineer to play a crucial role in the development and launch of new products within the business. This is a new role within the organization, reflecting their commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. The successful candidate will need a proven track record of managing NPI projects from concept to production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: Support NPI projects from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated effectively. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product introductions. Coordinate prototype builds and testing activities, analysing results to drive design improvements. Implement and maintain robust documentation and change control processes. Lead APQP activities and initiatives at Tecman Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize NPI processes and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: Degree, HND (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in NPI project management within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production ramp-up. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Experience with project management tools and software.
