Eden Ritchie is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to collaborate with a diverse team of S/4HANA specialists and supply chain professionals, working collectively to achieve the outcomes of the Program. In the initial phase of the program this role will work to collect and document business requirements, then subsequently move to develop training material, undertake testing, support user acceptance testing activities and finally post go-live implementation business support activities.

As the Principal Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Work with Department's employees to transfer knowledge and upskill to ensure capability is retained within the organisation.
  • Work within a program environment / framework to deliver the assigned products within a pre-determined timeframe, ensuring the successful completion of the program’s objectives.
  • Lead S/4HANA related business process, requirements, and information analysis documentation sessions with stakeholders to elicit current and future state business, solution (functional and non-functional) and data requirements in the context of relevant pharmaceutical legislation, warehouse and supply chain processes and solutions.
  • Apply relevant analytical techniques to elicit and document complex requirements (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), analysis, etc.) to uncover inconsistencies or inefficiencies in current business processes and make actionable suggestions for enhancement related to pharmaceutical and supply chain processes.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise Central Pharmacy processes through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups, including planning and facilitation of workshops to inform the identification and analysis of business requirements, and the motivation of stakeholders and promotion of the benefits of new processes and technology outlined in the Central Pharmacy operating model blueprint.
  • Provide verbal and written reports on technical and business change and analytical aspects of the project, including input into appropriate change interventions and end user training requirements.
  • Write detailed test cases / scenarios and participate in testing cycles such as unit or system integration testing by interpreting S/4HANA functional specification documentation, software technical documentation and other documentation.
  • Document test defects using HP Quality Centre and work with system specialists to successfully re-test and resolve defects.
  • Support user acceptance testing assistance and change activities to motivate and encourage stakeholders to the new technology and processes.
  • Develop training materials and end user documentation (e.g., safe work procedures, quick reference guides, role specific workbooks etc.) to support the successful embedding and learning requirements of stakeholders.
  • Support data lifecycle management activities such as data extraction transformation, data validation and cleansing processes to support the implementation of a mechanical warehouse automation solution implementation and uplift of S/4HANA, iPharmacy etc.
  • Deliver training to a diverse range of stakeholders on process and technology changes.
  • Prepare and/or contribute to preparing project artefacts / documentation consistent with Agile or PRINCE2 project management and/or BABOK methodology.
  • Contribute the development of procurement documents such as request for information, request for proposal etc.
The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate
  • Well-developed ability to understand how supply chain processes and improvements contribute to organisational goals and ensure data analysis and recommendations are aligned with the broader business strategy.
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data from specialist teams across the portfolio, broader health system and external vendors, to document and translate business requirements to inform solutions to business and system problems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and translate technical language into comprehensible information for business stakeholders. This includes transforming complex requirements, and suggestions into business-friendly formats such as user stories, thereby bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Finance and Operational Procurement modules from design phase to support.
  • Understanding of interrelationships between warehousing processes with other functions in a complex supply chain system such as finance, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transport and logistics, customer order fulfilment.
  • Proficient in the use of process modelling tools and has the fundamental understanding of industry recognised process notations such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or Unified Modelling Language (UML).
  • Conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills, to identify problems, propose innovative and practical solutions in a complex and dynamic environment with a focus on documenting analysis processes and findings.
  • Highly motivated to work effectively across functional teams, foster collaboration and build relationships across varied stakeholders by communicating confidently to a range of audiences and undertake effective consultation and negotiation processes.
  • Highly motivated and a demonstrated flexibility to work, including the ability to work autonomously or as a member of a team with due regard for goals, objectives, and priorities.
