The role of a Manager/Senior Manager is to manage delivery of high-quality HEOR and market access projects on time and within budget, be accountable for the quality of work produced, confidently manage and expand client relationships, and enable FIECON's continued growth by supporting business development opportunities and internal initiatives.

The main objective (but is not limited to) is to develop and deliver high quality health economics, outcomes research and market access solutions for pharmaceutical clients.

What does your typical day look like?

You will be combining the need for commercial strategy and foresight with your technical ability to solve all types of problems.

Every day is different at FIECON, one day you might be dialling onto an international conference call with clients in the United States to discuss the best model structure to demonstrate economic value of a pharmaceutical therapeutic, the next day you could be collaborating with a pioneering Doctor or research professional.

What are the key ingredients needed for the role (not restricted to that)?

  • Leadership: Effectively lead a team so that it is successful in achieving its goals (i.e. achieving associated targets and KPIs).
  • Ownership and accountability: Takes complete ownership for the quality and timely delivery of work to clients. Show proactiveness and investment in the project – taking equal accountability in the project’s success. Accountable for their personal goals and targets and holding others to account where appropriate.
  • Interpersonal and team work: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to build lasting relationships and accomplish team goals.
  • Project management: Excellent project management skills (project tasks running to time and within budget) demonstrated on all projects being managed.
  • Client relationships: Ability to build strong relationships with existing clients and manage expectations.

Essential qualifications/experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of FIECON's key service areas, with significant prior experience and proven ability of working successfully within a consultancy and/or within pharma covering at least one of FIECON's five key service areas.
  • Experience of leading development of deliverables incorporating various HEOR and access consulting methodologies and approaches.
  • A proven track record of developing and managing high-quality HEOR and/or access deliverables for clients.
  • Degree level qualification (2.1 or higher preferred) in a health-related, numerical and/or analytical scientific discipline (e.g. Maths, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operational Science, MORSE, Biochemistry, Natural Sciences).
  • Excellent IT and numerical skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
