Title: Director, Provincial Clinical Innovation (Internal)
Salary: $119,068 - $149,080 - $161,092
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Standard hours – 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.
About The Role
As the Director of Provincial Clinical Innovation, you will be responsible and accountable for the strategies and leadership of clinical innovation and patient safety across the system. You will provide consultation and advice to First Nations communities and partners regarding medical device lifecycle management, medical/pharmaceutical supply management, clinical quality and informatics, and health services delivery. And you will lead and represent the First Nations Health Authority to negotiate, develop, and adapt to the standards, practices, policies, and the education requirements of Regulatory Bodies. As well as, you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and performance measurement processes and programs.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.

About The Role

About You
To be successful in this role you will have/be –
- Master’s Degree in a related health profession from an approved education program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Completion of approved training in public health.
You may have experience in;
- Eight (8) years of senior leadership experience with responsibilities for strategic programming in a management level role, including supervision of nurses, allied health and clinicians within an organization, across various communities within the Province of BC.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years in leadership.
