The Role
As a leader in our Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of investigational sites and forging strong, lasting partnerships with new and existing clients. This remote role, requiring occasional travel, is perfect for a proactive and driven individual with a solid background in business development within the clinical or pharmaceutical research sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business and marketing opportunities to build enduring partnerships.
Craft and implement strategic account plans to deepen key account relationships.
Deliver comprehensive sales activity reports and manage sales pipelines effectively.
Offer insights into competitive landscapes and advocate for our unique value proposition.
Drive customer satisfaction through regular contact and tailored client experiences.
Lead client meetings and presentations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration to capture new business opportunities and enhance service offerings.
Use market intelligence and internal networks to identify growth opportunities and strategize business plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
Over 5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the Site Network/IRB/life sciences/research, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.
Proven track record of client base growth and retention.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
