Your new company is a Global Engineering Consultancy who operative cross multiple industries, including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Building Services. Winning multiple industry awards in 2023, they are leading innovators in their sector, fostering an innovative, collaborative culture from their Head Quarters, based in the Northwest.
Your new role
Your new role as a Design Manager, will involve working with Designers, from Junior to Principal and co-ordinating design across projects. With this, you will harness communication and collaboration between stakeholders, providing an effective flow of design. From a technical perspective, you will ensure objectives are met on a time & cost-effective manner and co-ordinate the team to do so.
As a senior member of the business, you will play an important role in helping the companies strategic vision going forward. You will have full management of the Design Team as it continues to grow and bring in more Designers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further experience within Design & Engineering management.
What You'll Need To Succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in design within a Discipline alongside management experience / qualifications. Chartership / Qualifications within Design or Construction management is desirable but not essential.
A history of acting in management is desirable in this role whether it is as Design Manager, or as an Engineer/Designer managing teams on projects. This role would be an excellent career move for a Senior Designer/Engineer to make the next step in their career, or for someone in management to move into an excellent company.
What You'll Get In Return
In return, you will receive an excellent base salary of between £60,000 and £70,000, based on experience, this can be flexed. In addition, there is the flexibility to work Hybrid and flexibly, to maintain a strong work/life balance. You will also receive an excellent pension, healthcare scheme and death in assurance.
