About the role:
We are currently seeking a full-time pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy in Canberra, ACT. You will deliver optimum patient-centred pharmacy care and have the chance to gain hands-on clinical experience while partnering with an expert team of local staff and doctors to leave a positive impact on patient care.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines

Who are we looking for:
We encourage both Community and Hospital Pharmacists to apply as training is provided. If you have ever thought about making the transition from community/retail pharmacy into the exciting world of oncology, this is the opportunity for you!
  • Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian pharmacy
  • Sound knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
  • Be available for on call services to our hospitals
  • Embrace change and commit to learning
  • Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously
  • Hospital experience desirable, but NOT essential!
  • Relocation allowance available for interstate applicants
