MSL Respiratory & Iron Deficiency

In Inizio Engage, we are recruiting for a direct and permanent position in a leading Multinational in the Pharmaceutical Industry, a MSL (Medical Science Liaison) for Respiratory and Iron Deficiency.

This position is based in Barcelona.

Territory: Cataluña, Baleares y Huesca.

What would be your main responsibilities?

Your mission: To represent the company as a scientific expert, advising and sharing internal and external information on scientific research. You will also act as an ambassador of the company in the medical community, helping them understand the conclusions of the studies and clinical investigations, solving their doubts.

And some of your main accountabilities will be:

- Establish and strengthen the relationship with the most influential doctors, in accordance with the business strategy (KOL & DOL management).

- Detect potential researchers who generate medical studies of interest to the scientific community.

- Select and transmit information to doctors and train them (KOLS and DOLs file) to make presentations (Virtual or Face-to-face) at scientific meetings (congresses, clinical sessions, workshops, webinars, etc.).

- Promote and lead expert meetings, medical training sessions, scientific events. Participate even as a speaker (face-to-face and virtual).

- Carry out systematic literature searches to stay up-to-date and provide updated information to the community of medical experts and also internally.

- Collect and transfer to the organization the research proposals that arise in the scientific community (initiated investigator’s trials proposals).

- Contribute to the development of Brand Plans and Strategies by providing own medical knowledge derived from Medical Experts (KOL), as well as from other health providers (Scientific Societies, Patient Associations). Also, provide information on scientific publications of the product, competitors or therapeutic area, particularly in reference to the patients’ needs and treatment trends.

- Share knowledge from medical experts with interested internal entities, such as therapeutic trends, adequacy and / or use of the actions implemented, quality of the speakers (Give feedback to the organization from the KOLs).

- Promote scientific studies, encouraging the participation of highly prestigious professionals.

Skills, experience & knowledge requirements

- Scientific Degree (Medicine, Pharmacy or Bioscience)

- PhD or Master Degree nice to have

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position at Pharma Industry.

- Digital skills to lead Webinars, digital Advisory Boards, online training, etc.

- Availability to travel at least 60% mainly at local level (Cataluña, Baleares, Huesca)

- Proficient in English (oral and written).
