The Company

Our customer, Insud Pharma is a pharmaceutical group with a track record spanning over 45 years and a footprint in more than 55 countries, more than 10,000 employees and factories in different countries.

They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee.

Description of the position

They are looking for an Infrastructure & Technology Manager to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of their business.

Working Experience

@ More than 5 years of experience as a CTO in the industrial sector (pharma is a plus).

@ Hands-on experience with complex project management.

Key Responsibilities

@ Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.

@ Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.

@ Supervise & ensure that whole system & technology infrastructure work fine and efficiency.

@ Design, plan, implement and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, networks, and related software.

@ Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary.

@ Implement and maintain policies and goals that further the organization's IT infrastructure.

@ Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.

@ Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations.

@ Work closely with Business, Development and Operations to define and deliver new technology and enhancements.

Mandatory skills

@ Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructures (Clouds, DataCenters, Data Bases, Networks, Virtualization, Workplace, etc).

@ Understanding & experience of budgets and business-planning.

@ Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.

@ Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.

@ Excellent communication skills.

Valuable skills

@ Desirable knowledge about SAP environments from IT perspective.

Languages

English: Very good Business English required (B2).

Job location

Madrid. European Union citizen; otherwise, a valid job permit is mandatory.

Expected travel

8-10 trips worldwide (2-3 days) per year.

Salary

A very competitive salary package.

Working from home

1 day a week allowed.
