QC Laboratory Technician

The role of the QC Lab Assistant is to be responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products and projects meet the defined quality standards. You will be tasked with developing, conducting and evaluating application audits and testing processes.
What Will You Be Doing…

• Perform sample receipt and sample disposal as required.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory, maintain stock levels and order supplies to maintain laboratories in a compliant state.
• Maintain designated work areas (zones of responsibility within the laboratory in a compliant state.
• Perform area cleaning, preparation activities, and sterilisation of laboratory equipment, disposal of waste and cardboard as required.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and calibration as required – e.g. Balance, pH Meter daily calibration.
• Perform packing and shipment of QC samples for external testing as directed.
• Recording and maintaining QC data in a compliant state as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
• General administrative work including filing as required.
• Support the QC laboratories in routine testing and sampling activities e.g. water and lower grade EM sampling
  

What We’re Looking For…

• Prior experience in a similar role within a GMP laboratory environment
• Knowledge and previous use of pharmaceutical instrumentation, automated test equipment
• Awareness of QA/QC procedures and approaches
• Excellent team player but equally comfortable performing tasks independently
• Flexible and agile mindset and willing to adapt to be meet the evolving requirements of the process/operation
• Meticulous and detail orientated
