Our client is a prominent leader in the pharma manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join their dynamic team. - Manage end-to-end payroll processes for employees across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Canadian regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, providing support during open enrollment and addressing benefit-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation to ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, conduct regular audits, and maintain data integrity within the payroll system.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement system updates and improvements for streamlined processes.
- Provide timely and professional responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits matters.
- Conduct informative sessions to educate employees on policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll and benefits administration experience in a multi-province environment, with a focus on Canadian regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in using payroll and ADP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is an asset.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a plus.
