This role can be based in the UK, Portugal, Spain, Germany or France
Responsibilities
The Field Force Effectiveness Director plays a pivotal role in delivery of customer experience strategy and is responsible for Field force optimisation and associated technologies. Responsibilities include developing, implementing and maintenance of strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity and overall effectiveness of the ‘non- medical’ customer facing model. The role will shape how our customer model delivers value to customers in the form of operating model design, capability building, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute a customer-focused operational strategy aligning with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, identifying areas for improvement, developing interventions and processes which support KKI strategy.
  • Engage with senior business owners and stakeholders (CGM’s and Franchise) to support an performance culture and identify capability interventions at cluster and regional levels.
  • Utilise data and analytics to identify opportunities, and areas for improvement across customer KKI’s facing teams.
  • Provide external Industry benchmarks and insight to continuously evolve customer facing model.
  • Ensure excellence in field force sizing, customer profiling, targeting and setting field bonus plans.
  • Maintain core field excellence capabilities and customer experience focus, through evaluation and expectation setting around Value Engagement model, and Value Opportunity planning and PJD field coaching.
  • Collaborate with Omni-channel Director and Digital Directors to support and develop omni-channel approach and customer satisfaction measurement.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, providing updates on Customer engagement effectiveness initiatives and their impact.
  • Review performance metrics to identify areas of need to design and deliver training programs ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage training Vendor and partners to evaluate and deliver industry leading field capability solutions.
  • Foster strong collaboration with medical affairs, regulatory affairs, marketing, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of strategies with the KKI’s goals.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Cross-functional team leadership in matrix organisations.
  • Background in Field force enablement technologies, CRM management and harmonisation.
  • Track record in national-level Commercial Operations and Customer Excellence Strategy.
  • Experience in segmentation, targeting, and incentive planning.
  • Proficiency in digital strategies and omnichannel implementation.
  • Project and vendor management skills.
  • Effective people management and mentoring.
  • Significant commercial pharma project management experience.
  • Knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas (e.g., Haematology, Oncology, Rare Disease).
