Head Of Global Launch & Commercial Excellence (m/f/d)

As our Head of Global Launch & Commercial Excellence (m/f/d), you will lead the development of key commercial capabilities, implement modern tools and processes, and shape a commercial mindset across the value chain. With a focus on preparing for new product launches and driving near-and mid-term growth, this role collaborates with senior leaders, regional counterparts, and cross-functional teams, offering a unique chance to contribute to our growth and innovation vision.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Shape Global Commercial Capabilities: Lead and drive a global commercial roadmap, integrating core and launch capabilities, alongside creating strategic marketing capabilities, including global brand plans and processes, to align with Merz's commercial vision
• Asset Strategy Development: Lead the development of asset strategy capabilities including a global asset strategy key template, TPP and process to support our new Global Product Teams who are responsible for the overall asset steering
• Drive Launch Excellence: Lead the development of a strategic framework and templates for commercial launch excellence, supporting future Merz launches. Establish the Merz Launch Academy for comprehensive training across all required functions
• Leadership and Team Direction: Provide strong leadership and direction to the global commercial excellence team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Continuous Capability Expansion: lead the development of further commercial capabilities such as full patient journey leverage
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders at global, regional and country level to ensure a consistent creation and application of end-to-end capability building frameworks including the right management tools
• Performance Metrics and KPIs: Develop KPIs to define goals and performance metrics, driving faster revenue growth and increased commercial productivity
• Global Rollout and Training: Lead the global rollout of commercial capabilities, ensuring relevant training programs are in place for seamless implementation
• Events & Congresses: Lead the strategy, planning and execution of events and congresses, fostering meaningful relationships with influential KOL
  

YOUR PROFILE

• More than 10 years experience in pharma marketing, sales, commercial excellence and capability building, MBA is desirable
• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on development of strategic capabilities needed to drive successful pharmaceutical commercial organization
• Commercial and launch experience at country and regional/global level. Experienced working in key European markets or in US to drive marketing or commercial excellence initiatives
• Independent curious innovator who enjoys development of excellence and had demonstrated ability to take initiatives and deliver high-quality results with respect to timelines
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the capability to challenge and influence cross functional teams and diverse audiences with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards common goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
