For Trainees Covered By Annex 21 Where The Period Of Training Lasts For Between One And Four Years, Pay Will Be As Follows
To undertake pharmaceutical technical tasks within a designated area, on a rotational basis, using Standard Operating Procedures laid down by the relevant Senior Pharmacy Technician to maintain a high quality pharmaceutical service to NHS Lanarkshire hospitals.

For Trainees Covered By Annex 21 Where The Period Of Training Lasts For Between One And Four Years, Pay Will Be As Follows
- Up to 12 months prior to completion of training: 75 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate;
- More than one but less than two years prior to completion of training: 70 per cent of the pay band maximum of the qualified rate of the qualified;
- More than two but less than three years prior to completion of training: 65 per cent of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate.
- More than three years from completion of training: 60 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.

What we'll need you to bring
- Diploma/SQA National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent to enable registration as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Undertake revalidation required by General Pharmaceutical Council and maintain a portfolio of personal and professional development.

- Carry out training on aseptic and cytotoxic drug reconstruction/manipulations
- Experience in dispensing discharge, OPD and in-patient prescriptions
- Experience in providing a ward or department stock top up
- Understanding of hospital pharmacy services
- Computer and Keyboard skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to organise and prioritise work
- Team player
- Participate in weekend and public holiday working
