About this role:
This is a great opportunity to join our team regional planning, coordinating, and implementing sophisticated IT projects! You will ensure an E2E view across platforms and main countries in Europe, working closely with our Innovative Medicines teams in the latest MarTech and Medical technologies such as Content, Portals, NBA, Consent Management, CRM, evidence generation, AI/ML among others, to deploy large and x-Country demands driving business impact and user adoption, ultimately strengthening Novartis Nr 1. position in the $39 billion Germany health care market. With solid project management skills, organizational competence, and technical expertise, and you will connect global x-functional delivery teams and business leads, removing roadblocks on project implementation. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring IT project managers and business analysts, help consolidating the way towards accountable use of Agile methodology and goals and achievements measuring results and impact fostering a collaborative work environment, ensuring business leader satisfaction and retention. This role will report directly to the IT country Head (or “Director”) in Germany and dotted line to the global solutions team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the design, deployment and delivery of highly complex projects within budget, timeline, quality and scope providing IT solutions that meet business requirements, directing highly effective project teams
• Stablish and run project governance and reporting ensuring clarity and accountability for actions, decisions, issues, risks acting as the main point of contact for all project related critical issues being the liaison between business and IT business leaders fostering x-functional collaboration
• Ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of project and large release activities
• Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practices across teams, projects and countries, contributing to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards, training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.
• Accountable to ensure alignment with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.

Role Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent area with extensive use of technology in business
• Excellent experience with large programs with scalable solutions such as; CRM Customer 360 view, or new growing technologies such as responsible use of Generative AI, best use of MarTech solutions, for example; Web portals, Consent and Preference Management, Next Best Action, Rep-triggered Messaging, Marketing Automation among others in a coherent and E2E view close loop cycle
• Proven ability to manage change within multiple levels interactions including senior business leaders across a diverse matrixed organisation
• Demonstrated knowledge of Operational Excellence for Field Force management on topics such as Incentive, measurements, territory planning, & reporting
• Expertise operating with Agile teams, Scrum, back-log based work, effective remote work contributing to success and speed
• Proficiency in English (oral & written)

• Optional experience around field force productivity such as sales representative of the future, field coaching, channel excellence
• Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Nice to have proficiency in German (oral & written)
