About this role:
This is a great opportunity to join our team to help enabling our field force to perform at their best! In this role, you will work closely with customer engagement and field operations teams shaping demands on content strategy & optimization, omnichannel, digital engagement, training, incentives, and others, fostering operational and field excellence, ultimately strengthening Novartis Nr 1. position in the $39 billion Germany health care market. In addition, you will play a key role in aligning business strategies with technology solutions while ensuring security, compliance, and integration. With an eye for business, technical expertise, and understanding of the country needs you will connect global x-functional delivery teams and business experts to ensure impactful solutions, helping us see opportunities for efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role will report directly to the IT country Head (or “Director”) in Germany and dotted line to the global solutions team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive forward thinking and innovation for local business impact through tech solutions and global services
• Partner with Business to drive impact enabled by technology, co-own transformation outcomes
• Support the business to understand their technology choices, risks, opportunities to serve the local market business strategy and customer experience
• Be accountable, measure and drive business value of transformation initiatives underpinned by Programs, Projects, Products
• Improve the 'ease of engagement' with TT for the Business
• Be a Key business partner for business continuity, serving as point of escalation, review key issues and decisions, development of operational mid-term improvements based on the IT strategy
• Understand and contribute to the Product vision and roadmap with the Product Lines and Business Owners

Role Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent area with extensive use of technology in business
• Experience with large IT programs and productization including knowledge of project management methodologies ability to assess and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and develop solutions
• Proven ability to stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends such as around Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ePrescription, Cloud computing, Data analytics to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs, Telemedicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation, Mobile applications, Internet of Things (IoT) and/or use of MarTech such as Web portals, Consent and Preference Management, Next Best Action, Rep-triggered Messaging, Marketing Automation among others in a coherent and E2E view close loop cycle
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, Knowledge of cloud computing and data analytics, understanding of cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to manage change within multiple levels interactions including senior business leaders across a diverse matrixed organisation
• Expertise operating with Agile teams, Scrum, back-log based work, effective remote work contributing to success and speed
• Proficiency in English (oral & written)
  

NICE TO HAVE:

• Optional experience around medical content and medical writing, MSL engagement, Data and AI/ML, evidence generation, medical study and clinical trials, medical contract and pricing, medical product dossiers
• Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Nice to have proficiency in German (oral & written)
