The position
As our new Commercial Head for Rare Disease New Therapy Areas, you will be at the heart of Novo Nordisk’s future growth and success. You will define the go-to-market strategy and the commercialisation roadmap preparing the organisation for the future launch of new therapies and ensuring the portfolio achieves its full potential.
Your core responsibilities will be:
  • Assess the French market potential for early Haemoglobinopathy assets, generate market research & insights, and make evidence-based decisions around strategic investments and prioritisations
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies for Haemoglobinopathy by providing the Region NWE perspective and ensure adaptation to NWE market conditions.
  • Proactively build and leverage Novo Nordisk capabilities and cross-regional intelligence on the market potential in the Haemoglobinopathy space and general trends in the field.
  • Work closely with the French affiliate, and on behalf of key affiliates to ensure adequate focus on market development and commercial preparation for entering into Haemoglobinopathy.
  • In partnership with the relevant internal functions, build relationships with external stakeholders that are key to new launches and building new processes to support commercialisation.
Qualifications
  • At least seven years pharmaceutical industry experiences covering business development / commercial / marketing roles.
  • You must have proven track record of working in Early Commercial Strategy, New Product Planning, Customer Value Proposition and Go To Market strategy development.
  • Experience in building relationships/networks with health care decision makers (governments, payers, insurers, policy makers KOLs etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Rare Disease space, preferably in hematology will be an advantage.
As a person, you are a natural leader with proven ownership and accountability. You are a strong collaborator and communicator, capable of driving conversations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders both in French and English. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate to be an outside of the box thinker. Finally, you share our passion and determination to improve patients’ lives.
About The Department
In this role, you will report to the Senior Director, Rare Disease of Novo Nordisk Region North West Europe and play a key role in the establishment of the Haemoglobinopathy unit in the Region. You will also get to collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional departments at different levels.
