The position
As a Senior Brand Manager within the Obesity team, you’ll use your expertise in marketing tools and strategies to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
In the role, you will be responsible for:
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of cross-functional marketing plans and projects for new and existing products to include mapping the customer journey, understanding different customer segments and targets, market modelling, scenario and contingency planning.
  • Driving market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Analysing customer research, current market conditions and competitor information and using insights to inform and create innovative marketing strategies.
  • Managing the approval of campaigns to ensure compliance with the ABPI and Novo Nordisk policies.
  • Keeping abreast of environmental changes in the NHS and private market. Maintain an element of customer contact, including Field Visits, congress attendance, etc.
You will also collaborate closely with colleagues and vendors in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering and testing innovative campaigns.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is a graduate with a degree or equivalent in Life Science, Marketing or Business. They will be experienced in pharmaceutical product management and/or marketing with strong digital marketing background.
Additionally, they will:
  • Excel in stakeholder engagement and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues across all organizational levels. Prior experience working with the NHS is a must.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry or within a pharmaceutical agency is essential.
  • Be a proactive and motivated team player who can demonstrate a Growth mindset, with a track record of wanting to learn, develop and stretch oneself.
  • Be a proactive and motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations, report writing and key message delivery.
  • Have some exposure to budget management and leadership skills.
You should also be strategic planner and capable of thinking to the bigger picture.
About The Department
The Obesity business includes sales, marketing and market access experts across both field and office teams within the NHS and private markets. What stands this team apart is our passion and determination to improve outcomes for patients living with obesity and its associated conditions.
The role will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Obesity and will work closely with other teams such as Market Access, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, Communications and the broader Sales and Marketing Teams.
