Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Knowsley (L33 7TJ)

Salary: £40,000- £50,000 (DOE) + Bonus

Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:30- 17:00, Friday 08:00- 16:30 (Hybrid role)

Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join our client’s rapidly expanding team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will define and plan projects, monitor and provide direction as well as researching and identifying new business opportunities.

Liaising with the Operations, Sale and Marketing teams the Product Manager is a key member, responsible for the Product Lifecycle from concept to release.

As the Product Manager your duties will be;

  • Identify strategic market requirements for new products.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitive conditions that affect current and future product development.
  • Compile business case plans for new product development proposals.
  • Provide support to Sales and Marketing teams, Operations & Finance departments.
  • Monitor and record statistics for the sales and margin performance for the product.
  • Responsible for helping to drive business growth in the company.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities- including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services- or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met - work closely with the different departments to make sure no setbacks or difficulties arise. Troubleshooting skills are essential to rectify any problems.
  • Identify customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product will fulfil.
  • Articulate what success looks like for a product/business.

As the successful Product Manager, you will have the following skills;

  • Product Management experience is essential.
  • Medical, Pharmaceutical or Chemical background would be advantageous.
  • Must have some BDM Experience.
  • Experience working across functions (Marketing, sales, operations etc.)
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Strategic thinking.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role- 3 days office based and 2 days from home.
  • Competitive salary £40k- £50k (DOE) + bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
