Water Hygiene Engineer

Here at PH Water and Air Technologies, we’re seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team based in the Southwest of London (Farnborough, Reading, Slough, Weybridge, Woking, Guildford, Redhill). You will be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines and able to analyse closed systems utilizing an engineer’s test kit. You will cover the South Coast, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey to West London areas. This is a unique opportunity available for Water Service Technicians, and we welcome interest from candidates who have a strong background in the water industry.

What we offer:

We’re looking to offer a salary between £24,000 - £28,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company vehicle, financial loyalty bonus, accrued hour schemes, and overtime opportunities.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Temperature monitoring of tap outlets and tanks/cylinders
• Cleaning and disinfection of shower heads
• TMV servicing
• Cleaning & disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011

Experience required for the role:

• You will have minimum 2 years’ experience working within the water industry
• You will be capable of physical work, lifting, carrying, and climbing
• You will ideally have some plumbing experience. (not essential)
• Full UK driving license
