About The Role
As a result of an exciting new acquisition and the ongoing promotion of an established brand, we are looking for new pharmaceutical Telesales representatives in the field of oncology, gastroenterology, pharmacy, and excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS).
You will have an exceptional track record in sales success, customer engagement and new product launches. You will have the energy and drive to seek new opportunities for business growth, tenaciously removing barriers and building new relationships.
In Germany, Pharmanovia is the holder of the only ready to use, licensed opium tincture product in Germany with an indication for severe diarrhea. This provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with key prescribing and dispensing HCPs to ensure patients receive the best treatment possible for their condition.
For this specific remote engagement role, you will be required to demonstrate strong influencing and access skills to successfully deliver telephone or remote selling platform interactions with HCPs. You will need the energy and self-motivation to be successful in this remote environment, as well as showing the tenacity and drive for success.
You will be responsible for supporting the field sales team in achieving territory sales targets for products assigned to that territory by the business. This will involve the adoption of remote selling strategies, provided by the marketing function, in order to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) and influence them, build relationships and provide information and support to drive account performance.
In order to optimise their impact, you will work within a highly targeted and segmented account environment in order to ensure they deliver the highest possible return on investment through their promotional channels.
Importantly, you will be responsible for acting in a compliant manner that ensures Pharmanovia are represented professionally and with the highest standards at all times.

Main Responsibilities & Duties
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service
  • Answer questions about products or the company, and ask questions to understand customer requirements in order to grow the business in line with targets
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner, and direct prospects to the field sales team when required
  • Enter and update customer information in the CRM system regularly to ensure all customer contacts and account plan actions are kept up to date and accurate, ensuring minimum usage standards are met
  • Effectively handle customer objections to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information in CRM account plans
  • Meet sales and activity targets and KPIs in line with company expectations and brand strategies
  • Engage in learning and development initiatives that Pharmanovia deploy with sales teams, including excellence in selling skills and key account management
  • Provide customer feedback that will support the development of sales and marketing strategies for relevant functions
About you:
Required
Candidates with at least 2 years of Kundenberatung/Telesales experience within pharmaceuticals are likely to have the skills required to be successful in this role. We are also looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in science/health discipline is desirable, or significant experience in Kundenberatung/Telesales
  • Great IT skills including CRM systems
  • Proven track record of success in a similar environment as a Telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Ability to construct a persuasive scientific argument from an understanding about products and services, and be able to describe and explain them to HCPs
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve objections and address potential complaints
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast, dynamic environment; drive, high energy, maturity, ability to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Strong organisational skills to establish priorities including scheduling and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build effective relationships for mutual benefit; a collaborative worker
  • Resilient and able to handle rejection
  • Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • English language skills (desirable) / fluent German essential
