This easily accessible, independent Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join their team. This Pharmacy has 3 consultation rooms meaning there is plenty of opportunity to offer your services.
This Pharmacy is looking for a candidate who has experience with methadone dispensing as the demographic is partly methadone reliant. As well as this, they would be ideally looking for a candidate who has had experience in teaching/supervising a preregistration Pharmacist. This is due to the Pharmacy having plans to expand the team in the coming years.
Key Duties

• Dispensing Medications: The candidate will need to accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
• Patient Consultation: Provide advice and guidance to patients on the safe use of medications, as well as answering any queries or concerns.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws and company policies to maintain high standards of care.
• Medication Management: Oversee medication expiry dates, and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Health Promotion: They already offer flu and travel vaccinations and weight management service. However there is opportunity to introduce a smoking cessation and EHC services.

Key Skills, Qualifications And Client Requirements

• Masters (MPharm) in Pharmacy from an accredited UK institution.
• Own a right to work in the UK.
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience as a pharmacist, in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably a candidate with the Independent Prescriber qualification.
