PwC Advisory is a garden of possibilities, and you’re reaping the rewards. Where you want to make an impact is always up to you. With the full support of our Advisory teams, you’ll delve into the inner workings of companies to find the best solutions for any challenge they might have. From the excitement of deals to the complexities of consulting and the fascinating realm of risks and threats in forensics, you’ll help clients nurture trust and maintain their evolutionary edge, today and into the future. Now that’s making a difference.
A career within our Risk Consulting will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients set up effective compliance programmes, third party risk management processes and whistleblowing mechanisms. These programmes help our clients mitigate legal, financial and reputational risks.
Our key services include:
  • The design and implementation of compliance programmes at the enterprise level (where we help establish their regulatory universe and their compliance operating model and organisational structure) and at the vertical level (whereby we focus on designing and establishing a programme to comply with a specific regulatory area, such as anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, etc.)
  • The design and implementation of ethics programmes, including the development of key ethics policies such as the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policy.
  • The design and implementation of third party risk management programmes to address and mitigate compliance risks from the business’ third parties.
  • The design and implementation of anti-fraud programmes and whistleblower mechanisms.
  • The conduct of investigative and due diligence work such as integrity due diligence, supply chain due diligence, fraud investigations, harassment and bullying investigations, ...
To help us grow and achieve our ambitions, our team is looking for a senior consultant to join the team in Brussels. As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside colleagues with extensive consulting and industry experience that will enable you to advance your career in risk and regulatory and to gain experience in topics that will continue to gain importance for businesses in the future.
Your tasks
As a Senior Consultant, you will assist with the execution of our risk and regulatory mandates and help identify and advance our business development opportunities. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:
  • Assist with the execution of projects respecting project plans with detailed timelines and budgets under the instructions of a Manager and above.
  • Facilitate meetings with our clients and other stakeholders. You communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and other deliverables.
  • Training and supervising staff and coaching colleagues who will be operating under your instructions.
  • Assist and participate in business development activities of the team and help identify and research opportunities for new/existing clients. This includes preparation of proposals that describe our approach, deliverables and fees to projects, as well as assisting with the development of discussion documents and presentations that outline our point of view.
  • Research of public domain information in one or more languages including research of corporate registers, media databases, litigation records and other open source material, and perform Integrity Due Diligences.
As a Senior Consultant, your direct reporting line will be to a Manager or above.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior consultant with the following profile:
  • You have about 3-5 years of professional experience, in either consulting and/or in regulatory compliance and ethics and/or in TPRM.
  • You have a consulting mindset and are motivated by helping clients find solutions to the challenges they are facing.
  • You have a general interest in risk and regulatory and are looking to advance your skills and experience in these areas. Regulatory verticals that we advise our clients on are: anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, health and safety, pharmaceutical regulations, environmental regulations, antitrust, etc. Experience in the topic is not a hard requirement, however being genuinely interested in the topic and having consulting experience is.
  • You are able to bring knowledge and experience of business processes and regulatory expectations and developments to our clients in a way that delivers value to them.
  • You are a profound user of MS office, especially powerpoint and are able to convert our vision into powerpoints and other presentation platforms.
