Maintenance Technician

Attention Maintenance Technicians in the Woodbridge Ontario.
We have partnered with a reputable food brand in Woodbridge Ontario looking to add a Maintenance Technician with a strong PLC skillset to join their tight-knit, highly skilled maintenance team.
Overview of expectations
Maintaining systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. PLC hands-on experience is a must.
This position is also responsible to meet and exceed department and company objectives. This is a plant-based position.

Responsibilities

• Consult manufacturer's manuals, circuit diagrams and blueprints to determine tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, and other variables in packaging and processing.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machine and the plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Works collaboratively and professionally with all management and colleagues.
  

Qualifications
433A or 442A
3+ year’s previous experience in food or pharmaceutical industry
Experience with Microsoft Office
Strong technical knowledge of building systems and food manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Stronger communicator
