A global pharmaceutical firm is looking for a Business Development Manager. The qualified individual will engage in partnering events and conferences, and present at introductory meetings with new clients. This role is based in Tokyo.
Responsibilities
  • Research target clients and identify them
  • Initiate cold marketing outreach to these target clients
  • Follow up on communications with new clients
  • Manage the RFI or RFP process with clients and partners for new opportunities, including referral responses
  • Prepare and finalise proposals and contracts for potential and current clients
  • Support client communication during the proposal, proposal defense, and contract finalisation process
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Experience in business development (CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is ideal)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite
  • Proficient in English
