Senior Mechanical Designer

The senior mechanical designer is a key role responsible for the design and elaboration of manufacturing orders.

Reports To 

The Head of the Engineering Department.

Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Designer will be carrying out the following tasks:

·      Design and elaboration of manufacturing orders for rotary printing machines.

·      Collaboration with the sales, purchasing, and manufacturing departments.

·      Preparation of operation and spare parts manuals.

Qualifications/ Competencies

·      “CFGS Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior Diseño en Fabricación Mecánica” or “Ingeniero Técnico Mecánico”

·      Experience with 3D, 2D Drawing and GD&T for serial manufacturing, PDM/PLM systems and BOM structuring.

·      Expert user of Creo Parametric (it is a must)

·      Desirable knowledge of Autocad and Solid Edge/Solidworks.

·      Languages: Spanish (or Catalan) and speak English B2 level.

·      Proactive and curious person.

·      The role is on-site work (not working at home). Place of residence within a reasonable distance of Rotatek.

Minimum Experience

7 years of experience in designing machinery (mainly assemblies with machined and sheet metal parts).
