What You Will Do: As an Account Director, you will have primary responsibility for the strategic development and direction of a portfolio of accounts. You will also play a key role in leading and mentoring a small team within the Client Services department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Account Management: Define and own the strategy for clients, manage client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery within time, budget, and scope. Drive creative excellence and identify opportunities for account growth.

  • Finance Management: Work with project teams and clients to agree on budgets, manage revenue forecasting, and ensure financial reports are delivered on time. Oversee financial processes such as purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations.

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring stakeholder management at all levels. Proactively handle issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Process Management: Lead continuous improvement initiatives and post-project reviews to identify areas for enhancement.

  • Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to your team, both in terms of people management and project deliverables. Lead virtual teams responsible for client deliverables outside of your immediate function.

  • Data & GDPR Management: Manage GDPR compliance and ensure data policies are adhered to within contracts.

  • Communication Planning: Facilitate open and transparent communication internally and externally. Handle difficult conversations within internal teams and support the team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Account Management experience.
  • Ability to create a vision and strategy for brands.
  • Experience in delivering change management programs.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Effective people leadership and line management abilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management experience.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and integrated communications.
  • Experience working in the healthcare and pharmaceutical market.
  • Previous agency environment experience.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Stakeholder/senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong influencing skills with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Experience with geographically disparate teams across global clients.
  • Understanding of PHCG offerings and tools is a plus.

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
