Our Team:
The CHC Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) team is a key player in CHC GBU, aiming at aligning industrial strategy and objectives with commercial ambition, delivering our customers and patients expectations with high quality products. With more than 4500 employees, 13 manufacturing sites, 6 distribution centers, external manufacturing partners, and dedicated industrial support functions, CHC M&S network is present in more than 40 countries and supplies 2 billion boxes/year worldwide.
The CHC Strategy & Project Team is responsible within M&S for Industrial Strategy, Sourcing and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) aiming to create an Industrial Supply Network and Product Portfolio excelling in customer centricity driving our CHC growth ambition.
The Sourcing, Strategy & Transfer team has the objective to build the CHC sourcing strategic road map for our CHC key brands, Drug Products and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) from external suppliers, and monitor timely execution of key industrial transfers & API dual sourcing roadmap.
Main Responsibilities
With more than 200 formulae in scope of manufacturing transfer (IN&OUT) across our 13 manufacturing sites worldwide and 4 regional hubs for third party manufacturing. The Technology Transfer Lead will support three M&S transversal activities:

Main Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain up to date the technology transfer mapping and technology transfer risk dashboard for the CHC division.
- Coordination of site’s portfolio simplification via manufacturing transfer-OUT
- Lead of strategic and complex transfer initiatives.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the CHC transfer (in / out) database via continuous interaction with all manufacturing sites and Third-Party Regional Hubs
- Ensure the application of harmonized technology transfer principles and practices.
- Establish and maintain the mapping of major technology transfer risks, ensure appropriate mitigation, and provide visibility/communication to the CHC Global Transfer Committee.
- Contribute to CHC Budget and Strategic Plan: Project prioritization, resources allocation, site network impact.
- Manage the key initiatives of site’s portfolio simplification requiring manufacturing transfer-out activities.
- Support the set-up of a central, standard governance to monitor execution of simplification programs via implementation of dedicated tools for monitoring (dashboards, KPIs, milestones)
- Represent CHC sites and M&S network in dedicated meetings/forums with external partners and/or internal stakeholder from different GBUs.
- Ensure communication and interaction with Third Party Sales organization, Senior CHC management and main stakeholders on transfer-out progresses vs plan.
- Ensure common ways of working and the overall monitoring and coordination across the CHC organization.
- Provides technical input and guidance to manage specific issues / risks.
- Lead of strategic and complex transfer initiatives:
- Lead of strategic and complex transfer across the division requiring central coordination & specific technical knowledge.
- Provide technical input/support to manufacturing sites to solve specific issues (process failures/anomalies, analytical investigations, responses to questions from authorities…)
- Support the set-up and execution of the CHC Global Technology Transfer Committee and governance
- Experience: 5 to 8 years minimum of proven manufacturing & supply experience and successful track record in leading manufacturing transfer activities.
- Main attitudes: Team leadership and transversal management, organizational skills, strong communication, results oriented, decision making, ability to work on multiple tasks and in a constantly evolving environment.
- Soft skills:
- Transversal management involving relevant technical stakeholders (Portfolio Management CHC Global Team, Heads of Portfolio Management Sites, Third Party Manufacturing Sales, Key Account Managers; CMC Regulatory, M&S supply Chain, M&S Quality.)
- Autonomy and ability to work in complex and international environment.
- Influencing and negotiation skills to build solutions and partnership.
- Objectives and deliverables / results oriented.
- Synthesize and explain complex topics to non-experts and to management.
- Proven ability in oral communication.
- Take responsibility for decisions and accountable for results.
- Risk management approach, including quality, time, and costs.
- Technical skills:
- Proven track record in manufacturing transfers and as project/program leader for OTC / CHC products in an international environment.
- Strong expertise in Process Development, CMC and/or manufacturing area.
- Confirmed experience in project lead, in managing project transversal teams (i.g. at site level) and in complex, multicultural and changing environment.
- Education:
- PhD/Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering
- Languages:
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
