Marketing Executive

Marketing Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Overall responsibility for Schubert UK marketing function

·      Responsible for digital marketing and the company presence on social media, such as LinkedIn

·      Writing sales and marketing literature, ensuring valid, current, and accurate content

·      Provide updates to the Group website

·      Working very closely with the headquarters’ marketing team in Crailsheim, Germany

·      Draft and distribute press releases and inputs to Group Newsletters

·      Identify business award opportunities and draft submissions

·      Manage Marketing events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and trade shows

·      Arranging and delivering internal marketing training as appropriate

·      Monitor and report on the effectiveness of on-going marketing communications

·      Ownership of marketing budget

·      Maintain brand standards

·      Manage and administer the CRM

·      Act as liaison with marketing service providers

·      Monitor and report on the effectiveness of on-going marketing communications

·      Produce a quarterly Report including KPI update

Skills / Experience / Attributes:

·      Marketing degree / CIM qualification an advantage but not essential as experience is important

·      Digital marketing / Web maintenance experience

·      Good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings and SEO

·      Good copy-writing skills, preferably in an engineering context

·      Able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing principles

·      Able to demonstrate awareness of technical services and an understanding of customer needs

·      Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills are essential

·      Able to work individually as well as part of a team

·      Good time management and planning skills

·      Able to meet multiple task deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail

·      Flexible, pro-active approach with creativity and imagination

·      Keep up to date with advances in marketing and how this affects the business

·      Willing to travel occasionally in support of promotional activity
