About The Role
As a Process Engineer, you'll be responsible for the process design of equipment systems, working on both projects and bid proposals.
Your Key Duties Include

• Developing process designs that meet project or proposal requirements.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of design phase outputs.
• Providing technical support throughout project and bid lifecycles.
• Undertaking various technical tasks such as site surveys, feasibility studies, and supporting sales.
  

About Your Responsibilities
Safety & Environment: Ensuring safe plant designs and considering environmental impacts.
Process Design Tasks: Generating process solutions, adhering to SPX Flow procedures, and completing design calculations.
Design Ownership: Ensuring the functional design aligns with regulations, customer requirements, and SPX standards.
Communication & Team Working: Engaging in technical discussions, attending project meetings, and supporting cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Documentation: Preparing process operating instructions, maintaining design information, and compiling manuals.
Additional Sales Support & Proposals Tasks: Providing technical support during customer meetings, pre-contract studies, and reviewing quotation text.
Lead Engineer Role: For selected projects or proposals, you may take on the role of Lead Engineer, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive design outputs.
Engineering Community Member: Actively participate in the global engineering community, providing technical support, sharing knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What will you need?
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks within a matrix environment.
• Initiative and ability to work independently.
• Team player with high-performance standards and ethical integrity.
  

Education And Experience

• Degree in an engineering discipline (Process, Chemical, Mechanical).
• Experience in engineering design within hygienic industries (Dairy, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical).
• Understanding of hygienic design principles, especially in process engineering.
• Familiarity with systems designed for clean-in-place (CIP).
• Full driving license, competence in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SAP experience are advantageous.
