Telstra Health offers software applications, and platforms that connect health information, patients and providers. We offer our solutions to the pharmacy, public and private hospital, primary care, diagnostic, Indigenous health, and aged, disability and community care sectors in Australia, as well as to Government and other health funders
Our software applications are the foundation of tailored solutions for patients, healthcare workers, hospitals, pharmacies and health funds to build a safer and more convenient way to manage health.
The Pharmacist Editor will have a pivotal role in helping shape and support the Clinical Content Editorial department by maintaining the currency and accuracy of content in the company's drug databases according to editorial policy.
What can I expect?
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop new and update content in the company's drug database in accordance with editorial guidelines
  • Provide internal peer review and quality review to ensure accuracy and currency of the data in the company's drug databases
  • Research changes to external guidelines, and other data and literature sources as required
  • Continuous review and improvement of legacy data to improve quality of content in the company's drug databases
  • Assisting with internal testing (UAT or sanity testing) of content and/or software that incorporates editorial team content
  • Comply with and/or review and update internal user guides relating to editorial team content or software as required
  • Publishing, verification and validation of content
  • Understand and demonstrate the features and functionality of the products to customers and users as required
About You
Education & Qualifications
  • B Pharm, M Pharm or equivalent
  • Registered pharmacist with AHPRA
Skills & Experience
  • Experience as a registered, practising pharmacist
  • Prior experience as a clinical or drug information pharmacist highly desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical products
  • Good understanding of pharmacology and drug interactions
  • Very high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent language and written skills with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly
  • Excellent time management skills, flexibility and the ability to deliver to strict deadlines
  • Proficient in basic office programs (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and be proficient in the use of a range of data entry applications and software programs

  • Experience in the digital health industry highly regarded.
