As we are an organisation funded by grants, an extension to the contract may become available in the future.

Salary Range of $106k to $116k Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit


The Opportunity:

The Academic Project Operations (APO) group work closely with our Research staff to ensure studies/ projects are delivered. The APO group comprises of multiple project teams working closely with Research teams on a range of projects which form part of specific research programs



We are seeking 2 highly motivated and experienced Clinical Trials Project Managers to join our team. Our ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of clinical trial projects from initiation to closeout providing clear guidance to the project teams on specific deliverables.

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related science or health care discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in project management working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO or pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in managing NHMRC/ MRFF budgets and reporting requirements
  • Proficient in use of the Microsoft office suite of products including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well and flexibly i.e. autonomously, in small teams and with a wide range of varying stakeholders
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong focus on quality of work
  • Ability to travel


Desirable

  • Experience with data linkage
  • Experience with registry and / community studies
