Manage a team of four AgriBusiness Field Application Scientists in EMEA. Be responsible for achieving high motivation of every individual resulting in a best-performing team to support the Sales and Support AgriBusiness EMEA team to achieve the financial targets.
A day in the Life:
- As part of the AgriBusiness Leadership team in EMEA, define the support tactics for each of the regions to pursue customer acquisition, customer retention and increase share of wallet for AgriBuisness in EMEA both in direct and distributor markets.
- Business Generation: The FAS team prepares and delivers technical sales activities to support the strategies of presales operations (demonstration, evaluations, dual visits, seminars, …) for AgriBusiness customers.
- Business Contribution: Ensures completion of all Implementation Programs and customer training under the FAS team's responsibility. The FAS team is responsible for execution of all type of post-sales Support at customer site, Company Demo Lab or remotely for optimal consultancy service, testing and validation service, implementation and training, troubleshooting and follow-up. Preparation and delivery of AH Customer Training, User and Distributor Meetings as well as maintaining the company's expected quality for those activities (CAS score)
- Technical Expertise: responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical expertise in the FAS team. Develop a profound domain knowledge by establishing contacts to KOL in the field, generate customer reference Sites, and become strong internal Voice of Customer. Provide feedback on technical problems and their respective solutions. Share expertise & knowledge amongst the AH FAS team
- Customer Complaint Handling: responsible for reporting and resolving customer complaints by collaborating closely with the European TAS Team as well as FAS Experts and coordinating with QA, PM, Sales, Service, Customer Services as needed.
- Voice Of Customer: the FAS team gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to local and European Sales/Support managers as well as to other functions as needed (Marketing, PM, R&D, QA…) on competitive activity, market conditions and product opportunities to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriated the market.
- Manage their own territory as FAS, with the corresponding Key Account Managers.
Education
- Academic degree (BSc) or has equivalent level of experience in veterinary diagnostics market.
- Broad experience (min 3 years) in technical support function, with consistent record in veterinary diagnostics or closely related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical support of molecular and ELISA technologies for Animal Health customers
- Bench experience in the field of veterinary diagnostics
- Experience in quality assurance is a plus
- Excellent professional communication skills.
- Proficient English language skills and other European languages are required for this role.
- Willing to travel (50%)
- Full valid driving license
