Job details
At Trojan Technologies, we believe there’s nothing more essential than delivering clean water to the world. That’s especially true in this critical moment, when the world’s supply of clean water is under substantial stress due to industrialization, increasing demand, and rising biological and chemical contamination. Our mission is to stem that tide: to ensure greater water confidence and environmental stewardship for people, industries, and municipalities, improving the lives of over one billion people globally.
As part of our global team, you’ll work alongside customers from municipalities to pharmaceutical and food and beverage companies to build creative, sustainable solutions. You’ll also find a welcoming and supportive team that listens to your ideas and allows you to follow your strengths. All of us feel privileged to work on innovative technologies that bring clean water to the world—we hope you will, too.
The Opportunity:
Trojan Technologies is seeking a full time Field Service Technician to join our team within Durham Region. While this is a remote, field-based position, the successful candidate should reside east of Toronto and within the above region.
If you have technical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience, and you want to find yourself in a supportive environment that challenges you, rewards you for high performance, and you are looking for a place to grow, this could be the job for you!
What Will I Be Doing?
Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you’ll provide service/field installation, preventative maintenance, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection services for all Trojan Technologies equipment located on customer sites in a defined region. You can expect the on-site work to include electrical, mechanical, controls/PLC, chemical, and customer training. All PPE, tools, equipment, etc. is provided or purchased by the company.
You will travel 75% of the time in your company-provided vehicle, supporting customers located within your territory; however, customer needs and team coverage may require further travel from time-to-time. You can plan to see an average of 8-nights per month requiring overnight stays at company-approved hotels (employee safety is one of our topmost priorities!); however, during your first year in role, you can expect higher than normal travel and overnight stays because of our incredibly comprehensive and thorough on-the-job training. While your role will be performed within Ontario, the successful candidate must be available to travel into the United States as required for training.
What Qualifications Do I Need?
If you’ve ever wondered what’s within you, there’s no better time to find out.
