Key Responsibilities for This Role Include:
Developing the Market Access strategies for Viatris’ innovative health solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that pharmaceutical products are accessible to patients while aligning with the financial goals of the company.
- Ensure sustainable access to our future innovative pharmaceutical products by combining scientific and economic aspects.
- Participate in the preparation, submission, and ensure close follow-up of high-quality pricing and reimbursement dossiers, modification of registration conditions, and revaluation based on market priorities and launch schedules.
- Build relevant, solid value arguments supported by, but not limited to, health economics data (including budget impact and cost-effectiveness models).
- Support other departments to integrate market access strategies into product plans and cooperate with national and international cross-functional teams.
- Research and analyse information from experts in the medical, regulatory, and marketing departments, and build economic negotiation arguments for pricing and valorisation of products.
- Organize the processing of scientific and economic data necessary for monitoring news on market access and prices of Viatris’ medicinal products and their competitors.
- Monitor, analyse, and internally share economic news related to market access for Viatris products, news related to the economic environment of drugs, and legislation impacting market access for drugs/healthcare products.
- A master’s degree in in Sciences (preferably MD or PharmD), Economics and/or Business Administration, with basis of Health Economics.
- Min of 5-7 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, including people management .
- Proven experience in Market Access and Pricing and Reimbursement within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of market access strategies, healthcare policy, and regulatory environment.
- Able to function in a matrix environment, within a global organisation, and to work closely within a local team.
- Ability to achieve results through cross-functional / cross-organisation teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences in FR/NL/EN.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- People management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ethical and professional conduct with a strong commitment to integrity.
- Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate medical, scientific, legal and economic topics.
